Should I repair or replace my old boiler?

This depends on the age and condition of your oil boiler, we can arrange a service of your oil boiler for just £90 + vat which will help determine the condition of the boiler and may well resolve any issue. If not we will be able to give you advice on whether a repair or new boiler is the best option and if you opt for a new boiler we will discount the cost of the boiler service from the cost of the new boiler.

A repair can be expensive and you could easily have more problems with a repaired boiler in the short term – in our experience once parts start to fail on your boiler, it’s not long before more parts are needed – sometimes only a matter of days or weeks!

It may be better to put the repair costs towards a brand new efficient and more reliable boiler which will be covered by warranty too – so if it breaks, the manufacturer will repair it for FREE!

We can provide a brand new boiler with a range of flexible payment options and OFTEC installation.

Do you install all types of oil boilers?

Yes – We install regular, system and combi oil boilers to suit your property and your needs. We install all makes and models including Worcester Bosch, Grant and Firebird

How much is a boiler installation?

The cost of a new boiler varies according to several factors, including which make and model you want and which boiler best suits your property – we offer a price match guarantee, so you can be sure that you won’t get a better deal on your new boiler anywhere else!

How long will my boiler warranty last?

Up to 7 years manufacturer backed warranty/guarantee is available, although the actual warranty for your boiler will vary according to which boiler you choose.

Will the boiler installation include a system flush?

YES!

All boiler installations include a standard system flush when replacing your boiler.

We may recommend powerflushing the heating system when replacing the boiler, because this is the most effective way to clean the heating system, and produces the best results and our surveyor will be happy to discuss this with you.

Will you install a magnetic system filter?

A magnetic system filter helps to protect the new boiler and extends the life of the boiler, in some cases you may get a longer warranty on the boiler if you install a magnetic system filter at the same time as you install the boiler. However you can choose whether you want it or not.

Can I pay in instalments?

We offer a range of flexible payment options including 0% interest free credit and the option to spread the cost of over 10 years.

Will I get a building regulations certificate?

Yes, Plumbcraft is OFTEC registered and all our engineers are also registered with OFTEC and have a minimum of 5 years experience so every boiler we install is registered with the local authority and you will receive a building regulations certificate once the boiler has been commissioned.

Is an oil combi boiler the best boiler?

The best boiler for your property depends on several factors. We will discuss the options with you to ensure the best boiler for your property.
